Who I Am

I’m Stacee Baker, a leadership and organizational consultant who brings more than 15 years of experience leading complex teams, designing operational systems, and navigating organizational change across healthcare, academic medicine, and clinical research.

My career has spanned bedside critical care nursing, academic medicine, clinical research and trials from feasibility through closeout, oncology clinical trial operations, translational science infrastructure, and senior organizational leadership. I have built and scaled complex programs, led centralized clinical research infrastructure, strengthened compliance and quality systems, developed sustainable workforce models, and guided teams through growth, change, and operational challenges.

My work has included clinical trial operations, research governance, institutional reporting, process redesign, workflow modernization, cross-functional collaboration, and organizational development. I bring a practical understanding of how people, systems, roles, communication, risk, and resources interact in complex environments.

That experience shapes how I work today: helping leaders and organizations create clearer structures, stronger relationships, more effective communication, and systems that support both the people on the team and the mission.

Personal Mission Statement:

To recognize, celebrate and encourage kindness, unique strengths, synergistic relationships and authentic human connection in a way that elevates the whole and encourages excellence in our work product naturally.

What shapes my work

My work sits at the intersection of people, performance, and purpose. Sustainable results depend on more than strong processes. They depend on clear expectations, thoughtful leadership, honest communication, healthy team dynamics, and systems that support people in doing their best work.

I bring a unique combination of critical care nursing, clinical research expertise, operational leadership, coaching, and organizational development. I am especially skilled at helping people make sense of complexity, identify immediate risk, idenfity what is working and what is not, and move toward practical solutions that strengthen both performance and the human experience of work.

Outside of my professional work, I value family, travel, yoga, meaningful human connection, and continued personal growth. In 2026, I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, which was an experience that deepened my appreciation for presence, reflection, discipline, and the importance of approaching people as whole human beings.
